Panel Dive is a comic-sourced explainer channel. Each video is an issue: one question about a Marvel character, a story, or the wider Marvel universe, answered from the printed pages where it actually happened, and cited so you can go and read them yourself.

The picture is the actual page.
Every frame in every video is a real, legally accessed comic page. Not a render, not a still from a film, not AI art, not a drawn stand-in. When Panel Dive says Doom sold his mother, you watch the panel where he does it.
That one rule shapes everything else: the research, the script, the edit. When an issue is about a trailer shot, the trailer frame appears as itself, never as a stand-in for a page. And every issue closes with the exact books it read, in order, so the receipts are checkable by anyone with a library card.
Every description carries the same line, and it is meant literally: everything here comes from the comics themselves. No theories, no leaks, no fan-canon. On the one occasion an issue offers a theory, the Doomsday Steve Rogers issue, the description says "theory" and the title says so too. A "what if" in any other title is Marvel's own, a printed story, not ours.
If a machine dreamed it, it never ran.

Where does the art come from?
From the comics. Each issue's research stack is read in print order and the camera dives through those pages on screen. Nothing is generated, traced or re-drawn.
Do you use film stills?
Not as a picture of the story. When a film is the subject, as with the Avengers: Doomsday trailer issues or the Endgame Encore re-release, the film frame is shown as the thing being discussed, and the comic that explains it is shown beside it.
Is any of it theory?
Almost none. Every comic beat is on a page you see. The one theory-driven issue so far, on the Doomsday Steve Rogers, says out loud that it is a theory about one shot, and then reads you the real comic the theory points to. What If Thanos Won? is not a theory either. It is a printed comic, Thanos Wins by Donny Cates, read the way every other issue is read.
